After an IDF raid on Jenin this week, a group of Arabic-speaking Israeli soldiers recorded themselves joking about supporting Jenin and the Palestinians.

Four men in IDF uniform can be seen in the video, laughing and speaking in Arabic as they say things like “God supports Jenin,” “God supports Palestine,” and “Israel can go to hell.” The video was posted online by one of the soldiers.

According to Hebrew media, the troops are Logistics Corp personnel who shot the video in a southern military installation.

After the video went viral, the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) released a statement claiming that “soldiers’ behaviour contravenes IDF values, and they will be reprimanded.

Following their detention, it was soon announced that the Military Police had started an inquiry. However, not long after that, they were fired.
